Edward Maddison Lead Podiatrist Edward Maddison is the Lead Podiatrist at Taylor Organisation – Foot Care, with over 27 years’ clinical experience providing comprehensive podiatric assessment, treatment and long‑term management of routine, advanced and high‑risk foot conditions. Edward undertakes full podiatric consultations and delivers both core and advanced clinical care, including high‑risk and diabetic foot care, advanced corn and callus management, and minor podiatric surgery. His clinical practice covers the detailed assessment and treatment of complex nail and skin conditions of the foot, with particular expertise in advanced corn enucleation, chronic foot pathology and medically high‑risk presentations requiring careful clinical judgement. Edward performs toenail removal surgery, including fungal toenail removal surgery, and provides specialist management of fungal nail infections using both conservative and surgical techniques, including the Lacuna Method. He also treats persistent and treatment‑resistant viral skin lesions and carries out verruca needling where clinically appropriate. In addition to his clinical work, Edward holds overall responsibility for clinical leadership, governance and standards of care within Taylor Organisation – Foot Care. He oversees clinical pathways and supports the training, supervision and development of all practitioners, including Foot Health Practitioners (FHPs) and Foot Care Clinical Assistants (FCAs), ensuring consistency, safety and high clinical standards across the service. Edward is known for his thorough, methodical and patient‑centred approach, ensuring that assessments, treatment options and expected outcomes are clearly explained and aligned with individual clinical needs.
